Since 2001, VMX’s owner Vickie Lewis has been offering environmentally conscious solutions to waste and recycling for the automotive industry. Their focus and dedication to the community quality of life has diversified and growing the company from three employees to a staff of about 70.
Vickie Lewis and Vice President Marilyn Stengle work throughout the community in providing leadership in the small business community and in environmental initiatives. All employees are trained to meet or exceed federal regulations with a safety goal of zero accidents.
Among the services the company provides are: assistance in qualifying for LEED certification, environmental and regulatory solutions, solid waste transportation and disposal, recycling, and construction debris removal. The company has assisted the construction debris removal for an $850 million FIAT Chrysler project, the building of the 425,000 sq.ft. state of the art paint shop – one of the largest in their history.
